I am very exhited to be joining a very interesting set of panel speakers at the CCIG Forum 30: Enacting public engagement: collaboration and critique within/beyond the university, on 23 April 2013, The Open University. I will be presenting the network project Sustaining networked knowledge: expertise, feminist media production, art and activism (SusNet), in which I am Research co-investigator with Dr Kate O’Riordan. This is funded by UK’s Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC), and is part of the Communities and Cultures strand of this research council’s work.

SusNet brings together feminist cultural production, art and activist practices and enables exchanges between different researchers, activists, artists and dimensions of community. It aims to produce a sustainable co-created platform for critical and creative conversations about digital engagement in a mixed format including digital media and face-to-face meetings (We are advertising for a Research Assistant for this network – please see here for more info).

The  CCIG Forum 30: Enacting public engagement event is organised by Dr Hilde Stephansen, with whom we share an interest in the formation of publics. She is a postdoc fellow at the Open University – and also my colleague at Goldsmiths, in the Storycircle project.
